Privacy Policy — Rabi
mylittlecode ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use Rabi and the website at https://rabi.mylittlecode.com/ (the "Service"), and the rights you may have under applicable law.
Please read this Policy before using the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. We may update it from time to time; material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email to the address associated with your purchase.
1. Data controller
The data controller for the Service is:
- Name: mylittlecode (individual / sole trader)
- Privacy contact: mylittlecode@outlook.com
- Data Protection Officer (DPO): Not appointed
2. Personal information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Purchase / billing information: email address and other details needed to complete checkout and deliver a license.
- Payment information: transaction amount and payment status. We do not store full payment card numbers — card data is handled by our payment processor (see Section 5).
- Communications: emails, support requests, and feedback you send us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Website / checkout technical data: when you visit our site or complete a purchase, standard server or processor logs may include IP address, browser type, device/OS information, timestamps, and basic request metadata needed to operate the site and prevent fraud.
2.3 Information processed on your device (local app)
Rabi is primarily a local macOS application. Preferences (such as language and shortcuts) are stored on your Mac. If you configure an OpenAI-compatible API, keys are stored in the macOS Keychain. Selected text you translate is processed to fulfill your request; we do not operate a cloud account that stores your translation history by default.
We do not collect precise location data and do not offer third-party social login.
3. How we use personal information
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Provide and maintain the Service (site, license delivery) | Contract performance |
| Billing and payment processing | Contract performance |
| Customer support | Contract performance / legitimate interests |
| Service notices (receipts, security, policy updates) | Legitimate interests |
| Security and fraud prevention | Legitimate interests |
| Legal compliance (e.g. tax / accounting records) | Legal obligation |
We may create aggregated or de-identified statistics that cannot reasonably identify you.
We do not currently send marketing promotions. If that changes, we will rely on your consent where required and provide an unsubscribe path.
4. Cookies and tracking
Our marketing website is primarily static. We may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies required for basic site function, language preference, or security. We do not currently use analytics or advertising pixels (such as Google Analytics).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information, including “sale” as defined under laws such as the CCPA where applicable. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: vendors that help us operate the Service (for example hosting or payment), bound by confidentiality obligations as applicable. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake, and is not stored on our servers.
- Translation / AI providers you choose: when you translate in the app, text may be sent to Google Translate, dictionaryapi.dev, or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint you configure. Those providers process data under their own policies.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or lawful authority request.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or similar event, with notice where required and continued protection obligations.
- With your consent: for other purposes if you explicitly agree in advance.
6. Security measures
- Transmission encryption: TLS / HTTPS for our website and checkout.
- Card data: handled by Waffo Pancake; we do not store full card numbers.
- Local app: API keys in Keychain; preferences stored on-device.
- Access limited to what is needed to operate the Service.
If a security incident affecting your rights occurs, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law, aiming to do so within 72 hours of becoming aware where applicable. Please keep purchase emails and license credentials secure and do not share them.
7. Retention
| Data type | Retention | After expiry |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase / billing contact records | While the license relationship is active; up to 90 days after a verified deletion request (unless law requires longer) | Delete or anonymize |
| Transaction records | Typically up to 7 years for tax / accounting obligations | Delete or archive as required |
| Support emails | Up to 2 years after the last related message | Secure deletion |
| Security / server logs (if any) | Up to 12 months | Secure deletion |
8. Your data rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to certain processing, or withdrawal of consent. Contact mylittlecode@outlook.com. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days.

9. Marketing communications
We do not currently send marketing emails or SMS. Service-necessary messages (such as purchase receipts, license delivery, or security notices) are not marketing and may still be sent when needed.
10. International transfers
Our payment processor (Waffo Pancake) and other vendors you choose (for example translation or AI APIs) may process data in regions outside your country, including locations such as Singapore or the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections (including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable) and providers that offer an adequate level of protection.
11. Children's privacy

The Service may link to third parties or integrate with services you enable (payment, translation, AI APIs). This Policy applies only to information we control directly. We are not responsible for third-party practices; review their policies before use.
13. Changes to this Policy
For material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and, where appropriate, provide at least 15 days’ notice via the website or the email associated with your purchase. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
