1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to mylittlecode ("mylittlecode", "we", "us", or "our"), an individual / sole trader. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rabi, a macOS selection-translator application, available at https://rabi.mylittlecode.com/ (the "Service").

By purchasing a license, downloading, installing, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

Important: If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase, download, or use the Service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

2.1 What we provide

Rabi is a menu-bar macOS application that helps you translate selected text, including optional OCR capture, dictionary lookup, speech, and translation via Google Translate or OpenAI-compatible APIs you configure. The paid product is a digital software license delivered electronically after payment is confirmed.

2.2 Nature of the Service

The Service is a digital, intangible product. Access (download / license fulfillment) is provided promptly after payment confirmation. Because of this immediate delivery, refunds are subject to the limits in Section 7.

2.3 Third-party AI and translation services

Depending on your settings, the Service may call third-party providers such as Google Translate, dictionaryapi.dev, or OpenAI-compatible APIs that you configure with your own credentials. Performance and availability may be affected by those providers. We do not operate those third-party services.

3. Purchase information & eligibility

3.1 Accurate information

When you check out, you must provide accurate and complete information (including a valid billing email). You are responsible for activity associated with your purchase and any license delivered to you.

3.2 Security

If you suspect unauthorized use of your purchase or license, contact mylittlecode@outlook.com immediately. Do not share license credentials or download links with third parties. Keep your billing email reachable.

3.3 Organizational purchases

If you purchase on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. License & pricing (one-time purchase)

Rabi is offered as a one-time purchase for USD $4.99 (price shown at checkout controls if updated). Payment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use Rabi on macOS devices you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

Current product information is available at https://rabi.mylittlecode.com/. We may update features over time. There is no subscription and no recurring charge for the standard license.

5. Billing & payment

5.1 One-time payment authorization

Completing checkout is a one-time transaction. By completing a purchase, you expressly authorize mylittlecode to charge your payment method for the amount displayed at checkout (currently USD $4.99, plus any applicable taxes shown).

5.2 Payment processor

Card payments are processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Waffo Pancake. We do not store your full payment card data on our servers.

5.3 Taxes

Unless stated otherwise, listed prices exclude applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, or sales tax). Where required by law, taxes may be collected at checkout.

6. No subscription; license status

The standard Rabi license is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew. After a successful purchase you will not be charged again for that license unless you make another purchase.

If we maintain purchase records associated with your email, you may contact mylittlecode@outlook.com to request deletion of those records. Purchase records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

7. Refund policy

7.1 General policy

Because the Service is a digital product delivered promptly after payment, purchases are generally non-refundable except as described below or as required by law.

7.2 Refundable cases

• 7-day guarantee for new purchasers: First-time buyers may request a full refund within 7 days of the charge if the product has not been substantially used (for example, license not activated / app not meaningfully used).
• Duplicate charges: Confirmed billing errors resulting in duplicate charges are refunded in full.
• Verified delivery failure: If we fail to deliver the paid download / license after a confirmed successful payment, we will remedy delivery or refund.
• Statutory rights: Where applicable law grants a withdrawal or refund right (for example, an EU/UK cooling-off period for distance sales, subject to exceptions for digital content once performance begins with your prior consent), those rights are reserved.

7.3 How to request a refund

Email mylittlecode@outlook.com with your billing email, transaction ID, and reason. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

7.4 Non-refundable items

• Purchases outside the cases in Section 7.2.
• Accounts or licenses closed for violation of these Terms or the acceptable use rules.

8. Billing disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact mylittlecode@outlook.com before filing a dispute with your bank. We aim to reply within 2 business days and resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9. AI content & intellectual property

9.1 Your translations and outputs

Subject to these Terms, translation results and other outputs generated from content you submit ("Outputs") are yours to use for any lawful purpose permitted by Section 10. The Rabi software, branding, and documentation remain owned by mylittlecode.

9.2 License to your inputs

By submitting content to the Service ("Inputs"), you grant mylittlecode a limited, non-exclusive license solely to operate the Service for you (for example, to process a translation request). We do not use your Inputs to train AI models without your explicit consent.

9.3 Third-party AI / translation providers

When you use Google Translate, dictionary services, or an OpenAI-compatible API you configure, Outputs may depend on those providers. We do not guarantee specific output quality and are not responsible for third-party model or API content.

9.4 Accuracy

Machine translations and AI-assisted results may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before relying on them.

10. Acceptable use

10.1 Permitted use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms, including personal productivity and internal business use.

10.2 Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content.
• Create or distribute deepfakes or synthetic media intended to impersonate a real person or mislead others about authenticity.
• Generate sexualized content involving minors or otherwise violate child protection laws.
• Create malware, phishing content, or tools for unauthorized system access.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
• Bypass or interfere with security or licensing controls.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without prior written approval.
• Violate applicable laws, regulations, or card-network rules.

10.3 AI-specific prohibitions

You further agree not to:

• Use Inputs, Outputs, or derived data from the Service to train, fine-tune, benchmark, distill, or otherwise develop competing AI/ML systems.
• Systematically scrape or harvest model Outputs at scale for purposes beyond your personal authorized use.
• Present AI-generated content as professional advice from a licensed human (for example, medical, legal, or financial advice) in contexts where that could cause harm.

11. Data, privacy & security

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy at https://rabi.mylittlecode.com/privacy/. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor (Waffo Pancake) and is not stored on our servers. Purchase-related records may be retained for up to 90 days after a deletion request (or longer if legally required), then deleted or anonymized.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

12.1 Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of translations / AI outputs.

12.2 AI / translation disclaimer

AI and machine-translation disclaimer. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not rely on them as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Verify with a qualified professional before acting on important matters.

12.3 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, mylittlecode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Term & termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate a license if you materially breach these Terms, engage in suspected fraud, or if required by law. If we terminate for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the purchase where required by law or as we reasonably determine. You may stop using the Service at any time and contact mylittlecode@outlook.com regarding purchase-record deletion.

14. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before formal proceedings, please email mylittlecode@outlook.com to attempt an informal resolution.

15. General

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and mylittlecode regarding the Service.
